Default "strawberry cream of wheat"

I made this recipe up and i kinda reminded me of strawberry oatmeal but it had cream of wheat texture so hence the name...

i didnt measure so here are rough measurements...

1/2 scoop protein powder
2 TBSP ground flax seed
cinnamon
splenda
splash of vanilla
1C hot water???

I added the hot water and mixed it all together...it was kinda runny so i microwaved it for 45 seconds... it came out like cream of wheat...it looked kinda pink and tasted like strawberry flavor although i used vanilla Protein powder...

it may taste gross, but i liked it... but its 3 30 AM so that may be why.... but it has satisfied me...

I am going to try this recipe tomorrow for breakfast... Do you know if it is Induction friendly? It sounds it but wasn't sure if the protein powder is legal for Induction.... Sounds great.. I have missed my cream of wheat... Thanks and I will let you know how I liked it!!!

I'll try this tomorrow for breakfast, but with cinnamon, maybe some SF syrup, and half cream and half water

Default Yum!!!

Thank you!!!

I used 2 ounces of warm cream and about an equal amount of water, along with SF hazelnut syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I literally have a bowl of this in front of me right now, and it is delicious! You're absolutely right. It smells and tastes like oatmeal, but it has the texture of cream of wheat.

Sometimes I wake up in the morning and the thought of eggs, cheese, meat, and even salad dressing on lettuce makes my stomach turn. I will be having this on those days!
