We went to a raw food dinner the other night and it was fantastic! No grains! In general I think cooked food and raw food both offer very important things to our food culture and nutrition. Like veganism, I suspect that many people who feel great on this diet are just detoxing from an intolerance to dairy and grains.

Thanks!Im gong to go to it, I think of the low carb diet as a partial raw foods diet if I eat mostly raw except for cooked protein!

Try raw meat, too - steak tartare is my kids' favorite foods.
