Manuel, the best help you can get is in the book. Atkins spells out exactly what you can eat and what you can't. No eating plan, including Low Carb, is magic -- you won't lose 10 pounds a week for life What you will learn to do is to eat in a healthy manner, lose the weight, and keep it off

Buy the book, or check it out of your library.

Good luck!

You have lost over 15% of the way to your goal in Induction. Most people can only expect to lose 10% of their weight in that 2 weeks. So you have surpassed that amount by half again! Congratulations.

Your body is now taking a break and catching its breath. It has changed its chemistry and gone from constant insulin surges to slow and stable glucagon production to digest food.

Even more important, your fat cells have lost fat and water. Imagine how anxious they are feeling about this sudden change. Right now, they are grabbing water from your system in an effort to try to plump themselves up again. Just keep on eating according to the LC plan you are on, and drinking the water. This 'period of adjustment" could last several weeks, but if you are faithful, the loss will resume. It's probably too early to start tweaking and changing things.

Please read through the On-Going Weight Loss section of Atkins if that's the plan you are doing. It suggests what foods to add or what amounts to increase. The Protein Power Plan books give lists of what foods are 5 grams, 10 grams and more per serving. The best part is that you don't ever need to go hungry on any LC plan.

I hope this helps. You are off to a wonderful start. Keep up the good work.
