Forgot to add to the post above...

I played babysitter to D, L and E this evening over in C. When I got there we headed over to McDonald's so the kids could play inside. Following/Helping E play was quite a work-out (going in and out of cubes, picking him up and swinging him forward, etc.). Dragging L from the play cubes, as well as trying to pick her up, to make her come back to the table about wore me out!

Treadmill___

Starting at 1.7 mph I had to keep increasing the speed to get my heart rate above 88 bpm.

At 5 minutes my speed was at 2.2 mph, keeping my heart rate between 94-100 bpm, with occasional forays down to 94 and as high as 105.

Total walk time - 30 mins___Total distance - 1.14 miles

A side note: I didn't feel well tonight. I had an upset/nauseaous stomach after eating a protein bar, plus got hit with a strong bout of fatigue around 5:30. Surprisingly I started feeling really well once I started walking. That is, until I hit the 24 minutes mark, when my stomach started hurting. Fortunately that lasted only until a minute or two past being through on the treadmill.

Somehow I've hurt the top of my left foot. I think it may be a bone chip from when we dropped the barn door on it 20+ years ago. If it continues to hurt I think I'm going to get it x-rayed.

I also tanked up on water about 1/2 hour before I started walking. (I was going to get a leg up on dehydration.)
Not smart! Not smart at all!

I was at City Hall waiting on the City Manager to show up. He was going to 1o minutes late (it turned out to be 20) so instead of brooding I chose to walk up and down the stairs while I waited.

5 minutes Walking

When I got out of the shower this morning I put my new sneakers on and left them on for the day. It made all the difference in world!

No water this evening. But I did drink 2 scoops of Pro Complex in a couple cups of water about 90 minutes before I started walking. I did that Monday night and it seemed to have made a world of difference both nights. I'm really glad I bought 4lbs of it!

Today we cleared trees for about 4 hours. Once E went hunting I continued sorting, stacking and hauling wood for another hour or so.

I also walked from our place, around the cul de sac, up to the curve and back again.

Total walk time - 35 mins
Total distance - 2 miles

Sunday, Jan 8, 2006___10:00 am - 3:30 pm

Today we cleared trees around the road for about an hour and half. Then we walked down to the creek via the 'trail of death' and cleared trees from the trail's intersection up to the spring (about 2 and half hours), then hiked back up to the 5th wheel.

Total walk time - Approx an hour
Total distance - 1.5 miles
