Here are few things that I include in my salads and no, not all at the same time...
Mixed greens or lettuce, spinach, arugula
plum or grape tomatoes
english seedless cucs
sugar snap peas
roast red peppers from a jar
hearts of palm
kalamata olives
thin slices of sweet onion
capers
avocado
yellow, red or orange peppers
steamed asparagus
steamed broccoli
My salads can get pretty large!!
I use Good Seasons zesty italian with evoo and balsamic vinegar and cayenne pepper cuz I like it HOT!
ps- I add any protein I've got on hand ie: eggs and tuna, chicken, leftover steak, shrimp, leftover salmon filets, etc. I don't put cheese into my salads simply because I don't taste it and I can't afford the calories.
