What's the best way? Fridge, Freezer or Shelf.

I store mine sealed well and on a shelf. Seems fine to me.

I vacuum seal mine and store in my pantry. A bag lasts me about 3-4 months and I've had no problems.
Refrigeration would most likely provide longer storage especially if you don't vaccum seal.
