Default is lemon water ok?

I know the book says that for CM's a little lemon juice is ok for cooking.... would it be ok to add some lemon juice to a glass of water and just drink it now and then during the day?

Just not sure if the lack of food to compensate for the lemon would be harmful or not.

Thanks!

Lemon juice still has carbs. I wouldn't have it more than 2-3 times a day.

I think it is ok if you keep it only at 4 tlbs a day of lemon juice. I personally love lemon water!

And when it gets hot here, I throw in a packet of Splenda.

Default Lemon Water & Hello CAD/CALP Oldtimers?

I want to ask if any of you are still reading the posts/revisiting our CAD/CALP forum? AND do you still have lemon water? I love lemon water in summer and anytime in the morning. I have avoided it for long but am going to try it again. Never noticed any cravings back in the day. Don't know if it effects weight/blood sugar.
It does so much good for the digestion, feeling refreshed from drinking it.
Would love to hear from you guys.

Lemon and other citruses erode tooth enamel. To lessen the damage, use juice from a fresh lemon, not the concentrated, commercial lemon juices. Drink through a straw to minimize contact with your teeth. Drink it quickly, rather than sipping over a long period of time. Rinse your mouth with plain water after drinking.

Thank you, I think citric acid is far worse.
Had lemon water, two days now. No sign of any insulin spikes yet.
Keep ya posted.
