Default lost recipe thread

I started a thread a week or 2 ago called 17th century LC chicken recipe. I was going to post an update on how it turned out (delicious) but it's hiding from me. I did a search & the title showed up, but when I tried to access it, I got the message that I don't have permission to access the page.

Should I start a new thread for the update? Or can I be granted access to my own thread?

Thanks!

Bonnie

Use the advanced search. I prefer the google version on the advanced page.

I did. The thread shows up in the search, but when I click on it, I get this message:

Of course, I asked here instead of e-mailing the webmaster. I'll do that now.

Doh! I missed that you had found it. Sorry! I get the same permission issue.

Unhappy The recipe has been removed.

You clearly posted a recipe from a recipe book. Had you read our Kitchen Forum Rules - very clearly marked as a sticky in each of our recipe forums - you would have known that doing so is not permitted under our rules. So unfortunately posting that recipe is a breach of copyright.

It pays to read to stickies.

I didn't think of it as a cookbook - it's a food history book. So if I rewrite the recipe it's OK?

Yes, as long as you make it clear it's an adaptation of the original, that will be fine.
