Default Are potatoes that bad ?

I started out wanting 110 to be my goal weight but when I hit 115 I liked that weight. I really don't know how to maintian so I started adding a half a potato a couple times a week....is this really bad? Yes a do have the book but I let my cousin use it.

You need to get your book back or get yourself a new copy.
You've done well to get to your goal. Now you need to figure out how to eat for the rest of your life. Doing OWL phase of ATKINS, not adkins, will help you do that.
No, 1/2 potato a couple of times a week isn't bad. Try sweet potato too as its higher in fiber and lower on the GI. Also, try other starchier veggies.

I agree with Judy, sweet potato is more nutritious and just as versatile!

Funny you did that with the potato. I recently tried adding back a slice of bread once a week. My first time out was a bacon sandwich. Much anticipation, but it just wasn't as good as I remembered.

However, sometimes I think the variety is more important than the actual taste of what we eat, as long as it doesn't suck.
