Default Bob's Red Mill Low-Carb Bread Mix

I just made my first loaf of Bob's Red Mill Low-Carb bread using the mix I purchased on amazon.com. I read all the reviews and also visited BRM website, then made my own adjustments to the recipe.

I've been baking my husband's bread since 2013 when we found that he has a heart condition. I use the Cuisinart CBK-100 2 LB Bread Maker (also purchased on amazon.com), letting the machine do the heavy lifting, then taking the dough out for a final rise before oven baking.

Long story short(er), he likes the Bob's Red Mill Low-Carb Bread better than my higher carb whole wheat!

This is my recipe:

1 cup half and half
1 cup water
2 tbs olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tbs molasses
1 pkg Bob's Red Mill Low-Carb Bread Mix and included yeast.

Salt, oil and molasses combined with liquids in machine. (The liquids are first heated to 90+ degrees F)
Dry mix added with the yeast added last.
Nutritional Info on amazon It's hard to get exact carb count because all ingredients vary, but this is lower than regular bread.

Sadly it contains wheat, which is a deal breaker for me. Glad you liked it.
