Espoir, first off welcome to the forums.

Second, 5 days is NOT a stall. A stall is defined as going 6 or more weeks without any weight loss or measurement changes.

This is not a fast weight loss diet. If you have dieted before or are a yo yo dieter, then you may have slowed your metobolism to a point where the weight is going to be VERY slow in coming off.

Main thing is, on this diet you are eating healthier, and you will lose the weight if you stick with it.

If you haven't done so yet, please start a journal and list out daily menus, water consumption, exercise etc. There are lots of experienced people within these forums that can help you and offer advice.

Default Day 7

I am on day 8 as of today..and my loss has kind of stopped too. But, I do feel the shrinkage in the clothes. I think I will probably stay on induction after the 2 weeks..and see how it goes. I have also noticed a change in my nails, hair and skin..

Good luck!!

Laura

Hi!

More than likely,,,, your body is resting after the shock of your new way of eating. Plus, you lost a lot, too. I know it does not seem like it - but to your body it is.

I complained to - but as someone pointed out to me, I did not gain it overnight or in 2 weeks - how can I possibly think I will lose it in the same timeframe.

Patience, persistence, planning, preparing are keys to this WOL.
Don't forget the water, too.

Hope this helps.

A Thin Me

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I do tend to forget sometimes that it did take me awhile to put on these 30 + pounds...I do really need to "bite the bullet"so to speak. I am exercising and writing down everything....including water consumed and also the vitamins (so I don't forget to take them) I just barely get the 64 oz. water down though...I like it but man do I ever have to run to the bathroom all the time which is not good when I have sooo few breaks when I am teaching LOL. Anyhow ....I really appreciate you all taking the time to reply.
