You'll need to read the lables. Steel cut are fine only about 1/2 cup a day though! A gauge how you deal with it. If you are buying prepackaged oatmeal with no flavour some of them have wheat in them.
I buy Bob's Red Mill organic rolled oats and steel cut oats. I love them. I stopped eating them months ago, thinking they were not allowed on this diet because of all of the carbs, but read on a few sites that they are. I'm so happy.
I had to stop eating the oats. It was causing me terrible stomach problems. I used to be able to eat them everyday but those days have passed. This diet sucks.
