Default Pizza Base?!

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a low carb pizza base product we can buy here in the UK, something like a British version of http://www.victoriapacking.com/pastasauces.html.

I know, I can hear you all shouting at me to make it myself but if anyone knows a similar product to this that is available at Tescos or wherever it would be much appreciated!

Found a Lloyd Grossman pasta sauce product that fits the bill - 5g of ECC per 100G. Bought from Tesco's £1.78.

Pizza tomorrow!

I use the "flax foccacio" recipe to make and bake it after spreading the dough/batter out thinly to a pizza shape on a silicone baking sheet.

avidlite has a kit for £6.25 - kind of expensive. I'd just put pizza toppings on an omelette.

Also that crust mix has zero fat in it and seems to be made of mainly protein powder and egg whites plus loads of chemicals!

And who eats only 1/8th of a 12" pizza?

I made the meatza with a "crust" of ground pork and Italian sausage. Even my non LC husband loved it.

Has anyone tried this? How big is a bag of pork rinds? In England, I expect we'd call them pork scratchings?

Thanks for any help

Liz

I LOVE this recipe for pizza crust:
1/4 cup of cream cheese
2 eggs mixed together well
1/4 cup of parmesan
1 cup mozzerella
1/4 cup flax meal
1/4 tsp italian spices
1/4 tsp of garlic powder
Bake in a 9x13 greased pan for 15 min at 375 (prepare your toppings while it's cooking) then remove from the oven, let cool a bit, flip over and dress with your favorite toppings, put back in the oven for 30 min, AS GOOD AS DELIVERY!!!
Enjoy, it's what's for diner tonite!!
