Question what to do for breakfast?

Hello everyone,

I am having problems finding breakfast ideas with low carbs. I have a few allergies that limit my choices of food.
I am allergic to eggs and fish, which doesn't leave me much to choose from.
I am sure there are lots of ideas and I hope that someone can help me with this.

Thankyou

Lightforce

Hi there Lightforce,

Welcome to the forum!

I remember asking a similar question when I first joined the firum. I was told - and I'll now tell you - to try thinking outside the box. There's no law that says we have to eat "breakfast foods" for breakfast.

My most common breakfast is leftovers from the previous night's dinner. I'll deliberately make enough so I will be able to have an easy, yummy breakfast. I also love chicken wings, and they feature regularly on my brekkie menu.

You can also make things like roll-ups. Spread ham or smoked salmon with cream cheese, chill, then slice. If you are not on Induction, you can add a few chopped nuts to the cream cheese.

Have a look at our Breakfast Ideas subforum for more ideas.

All the best.

Rosebud

I rarely eat "breakfast foods" for breakfast. I eat last night's dinner leftovers, a piece of cheese, a salad, pepperoni, raw veggies with sour cream....

You can eat anything at anytime (allowable, of course). Have you (if not allergic) to Flax? Cream of Flax warm cereal w/cream is yummy...add a few strawberries (or other allowable fruit). Yum

I find deli turkey slices are good in the am. Not to spicy for early am and the protein helps keep me from getting hungry.

Maybe a whey shake flavored with berries or peanut butter? Thats a little more time but yummy.

I've even had celery with peanut butter, radishes, cheese or a salad for breakfast.

It's great that we can be creative<G>

I **Reallly** like 1 slice of atkins bread, with bacon, sausage and ketchup (a treat) on it. I eat this for a lot of meals. If I'm feeling indulgent I'll put egg and cheese on there as well.

I really like ground beef cooked so the crumbs are tiny, fried with minced onion and lots of minced celery. Add bragg's amino soy sauce to it along with some spices and it tastes like chinese dumplings
