Question your favorite pizza crust?

Hello there,
I'm mostly sticking to foods that are normally low carb to keep from tempting bad habits, but there are a few things I really need to live la vida lowcarb. Tortillas, chocolate candy, occasional desserts (cupcakes are my favorite), ice cream in the summer (I just saw about Ben and Jerry's so that is probably set), and pizza. Pizza is the only thing I haven't found a perfect substitute for. Now I order out and just eat the topping, reminding myself that the carb crust is the absolute cheapest part of the pizza anyway.

I really miss cold pizza for breakfast. What is your favorite pizza crust? I would prefer a premade one since I really can barely cook. But since starting Atkins my cooking has improved markedly out of necessity, so your favorite mix/recipe would be really appreciated too.

Thanks for any suggestions.

But I still want a good pizza!

My son is the NUMBER one pizza fanatic, I'm number two!

On another board I found a crustless pizza recipe... I know I said YUK too but decided to try it.

Can you believe my sister and my son, the Pizza Hut twins, want it for breakfast lunch and dinner????

I know it should be posted in the recipe area but it's very easy to make.

Brown a pound and a half of ground beef, pat it flat into a long casserole pan.
Make a sauce from simmering tomato sauce and italian seasoning till thick. Top the meat with the sauce then layer on your favorite cheeses and toppings. Pop it into the oven till the cheese is melted and golden brown. I promise you, you will NOT miss the crust!

robinrs: thanks. I am going to try it. It reminds me of something my mother used to make when I was a kid. it was like a thin, meat pie with egg and spices on top. Kind of a skinny meatloaf with Armenian spices. Yours sounds like an Italian version.
