Good stuff!
LadyBelle,
I am using the larger cubes of boullion, Knorr, which usually equals 2x the smaller cubes, or 8(total) for the small cubes. I would stop at 6 (small)cubes & taste. I've gotten used to the slightly bland taste of the base soup, but you can 'Jazz' it up w/some hot sauce or the SF ketchup (as you used), but count the carbs!
The cabbage/pork soup really rocked today! Ginger3000, I eat this all day, throughout the day, by the end of a full 48 hours of eating this soup I'm in full blown Ketosis! Take a look at my PLAN, I have an assortment of the beef, chicken & now my pork DB soup. The veggies are versatile, but types are limited for induction. You'll have to 'fine-tune' it for each of your tastes, but remember to 'plug it in' for calorie/carb/fat/protein breakdowns. I usually only make 1/2 pound of meat, cut the water to 3qts. & half everything else, so if I want to I can have something else fo breakfast & the soup for the rest of the day!
Chicken & asparagus is good too! Cauliflower, chinese greens, bok choy....be inventive!
LadyBelle, what is the name of the no salt/msg boullion you use?
Thanks & enjoy! ~Cheryl Ann
