That is pretty much what happened to me. My mom passed away in December 2002, my relationship with my boyfriend at the time was going nowhere and I had to put my beloved dog to sleep due to his health issues. Basically a couple of years later after lowcarbing on and off, I said to myself "Screw it!" and quit. Gained everything back, lost what good health I had and landed in the hospital twice over a 14 year period.

I hope you succeed in losing the weight.

Default Hell Everyone! My Intro..

Hello Everyone in the TDC Club! Please count me in as I have about 115 pounds to lose. I just joined a few days ago and thought Id finally pop in here and give a proper introduction. Im excited to meet others here who like myself, have over 100 pounds to lose!
Im 48 years old, will be 49 in March. I am an emotional eater. I lost two grandchildren in 2014 within 6 weeks of each other and last Feb I lost my Mother and then two weeks later I lost my aunt, her older sister. So I of course turned to food once again for a coping mechanisim. But here we are and Im ready to do this thing.

Good morning each and everyone of you. Praying that today is bringing you much success and happiness with your way of eating lifestyle.

I need to get back on track seems like I have so many derails that it's hard to stay on track but I got back up again and am on track again.

Hi everyone! New the forum but not the lifestyle. Initially lost 113 lbs over a year ago. Gained some back in a year long plateau. Now re-re-starting. Day after Christmas weight 278, now 269. About 130 to go. I'm a 67 year old sedentary turtle loser, but moved my treadmill up to the front room so I can get some more activity in AND watch Netflix (LOL). I hate January. Hope to get to know you all bettr.
