Default continuous pills

I stall every time I get my period for 2 weeks, week before, and week of. I usually gain about 3lbs in fluid which is of course lost after, but with no extra fat gone. Which means I only lose 2 weeks out of the month.. nicht gut! Has anyone tried continuous pills on a standard 28 day pill? I know ideally continuous will be a steady hormone level, but I'm thinking maybe if I don't get my period I will only stall the pms week rather than both. Any suggestions, or experience?

I was on seasonal (3 month pill) but when I got my period, it was the absolute worst emotion nightmare I have ever been through. I don't know if maybe the mood stabilizer I'm on now would help if I were to do it again, but I'm afraid to try..

I take the generic form of Seasonale continuously. Honestly, it is my weight loss drug - none of the mood swings, extra hunger, etc. I love it. I gained most of my weight with crazy hormones (like 50 pounds in one year) so stabilizing my hormones has been a really important factor in my weight loss.
