Question Stillman's Diet

As I go into my 6th week on Atkins with no weight loss. I am thinking of trying Dr. Stillman's. I am in ketosis and have under 20 grams of carbs a day, 100 ounces of water a day, I have cut out all dairy, and absolutly CHEAT FREE for 6weeks no even one little slip up. This time I have been true to myself. I think maybe I missed my "One golden shot". However, I know that healthy eating is the main issue at hand, but hello??? I do desperatly so do want to lose weight. Spring has almost sprung! I know the woe works because I lost 85lbs 4 yrs ago but went back to my old and yucky woe So what does everyone think about Stillman's. Oh, BTW I haven't lost inches either

Breakfast: 2 eggs cooked w/ fat
1 c decaf coffee w/ 1teaspoon heavy cream

Lunch: Tuna w/ carb smart salad dressing
1.5 cups of spinach
(Basically I eat 1meat w/ 1 veggie ie: spinach,brocolli,turnip greens,garden salad)
I also incorporate the proper amount of fats

Dinner: Same as lunch
And of course water water water!!!
I take a multivitamin
I am even staying away from cheeses!
I don't even drink anything except for water.
And to beat all. I have been in ketosis (I check everyday) for 5 weeks and still no loss. It makes me sad. I keep hoping for a visit from the Woooosssshh fairy, but nothing :-(

I can't imagine why either. I know I did the exact same thing with Weight Watchers (2 pounds in 2 months), but Atkins is very friendly to me if I stick with it. Could the problem be medical? Have you had your thyroid checked recently? Are you on any new medications since you were on Atkins before? Those are the only things I can think of off the top of my head.

The last time I lost weight I was NOT on birth control. So I laid them down a week ago. I did have my thyroid checked and it is normal.

how many calories are you getting? somtimes too little or too much calories can impede weight loss. Or maybe you're incredibly insulin resistant, perhaphs try the fat fast as recommended in the atkins book?

Hey Trusty, That is why I am curious about the Stillman's diet. I really haven't been counting calories, but I think I should start

Sorry never heard of stillman. I wish you well in finding a solution,
Dewi

Unless you are eating very large portions of the meats you have listed, it is likely you are only eating around 1,000 calories per day. That is a little bit low to be healthy IMO.
