Talking Down another three pounds since last week!

Can you believe that I am down three pounds from last week?! It is also very close to that TOM for me, so I know there is also some water retention. For those of you who are concerned that I am losing too fast, let me assure you I am eating. I think I need to add a few more calories to the day, but this is the result of hard work.
I have been following the Body for Life program in conjunction with Dr. Schwarzbein's plan and I am so pleased. Last night I made salmon fillets in butter with shallots, dill, and lemon; had broccoli and peas, steamed, with butter. It was so beautiful to have everything taste soooo good and know that I am doing the right thing.
I have been telling anyone who will listen at the gym and on a local support site in my area... few are willing to think about adding fat back to their diets after having been so misled. I have been posting my diet on the local site and had a girl respond that I should really be careful with those nuts; while she loves them too, they just have "SO MUCH FAT!" I read her journal and she is keeping her fat at 10% or less every day, and her weight moves up a half a pound, down a half a pound. This is with diligent exercise! What can you do, though? I didn't make the change until I was ready, so I guess I'll have to show these people by example.
I hope everyone is having as good a time as I am. By the way, I am off my ulcer meds... I use an over the counter Ranitidine when I can't take it, but for the most part I am doing much better.

Good for YOU!!

I sure understand about no being able to get your friend to "get a grip on food". NONE of my friends "get it". OH WELL....

Your hard work is sure paying off...you keep it up. There's nothing like being in control. Great job.
