Question is this normal?

hi everyone!
I am on day 3 of induction, and I have noticed that I feel very out-of-it. Like i have very little energy, I feel sort of listless, and I feel sort of foggy, kind of like i'm in a daze? does this sound familiar to anyone or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Molly

It could be something else- like you are simply sleeping less. It also could be (and probably is) vitamin and nutrient depletion. Make sure you take your vitamins. Some people say you should double up on a daily multivitamin. Atkins also makes several supplements you can buy, but they are expensive. I decided to invest in the Atkins Dieter's Advantage Formula ($12 for a 15 day supply) in addition to my store brand multivitamins.

I agree that you could be suffering from not enough vitamins and etc. but you might also check to see that you are eating enough. Sometimes you get so excited to start something new like this (and congrats to you for taking the step) that you cut back to much on what you are eating. Good luck and hope you feel better soon .

Default Buzz....

I call this the low carb buzz. I don't know what it is really, but it happens to me when I go into induction... It should pass in a few days. I try to convince myself that its kindof pleasant....

Default too few...maybe

It's been said that at the start of induction, if you are losing weight too fast right away you can feel light headed and "out of it". Dr. Atkin's suggests adding another salad or two to your plan. Also, take your vitamins. And have your allowed veggies every once in a while...if not daily. Hope this helps...just advice. Stay with it!!!

I didn't really have a problem with this in the beginning... but my friend had the same type of problems when she started, and it caused her to quit (even though i told her itd be gone within a few days) too bad she never got to the good side effects of it.
