i just found this forum and immediately registered.
Im from Germany and also live there, just started with my LowCarb Diet. Stupid thing is, that our grocery stores dont sell products such as Splenda or any Atkins products. So the LowCarb diet i do is more the medieval way... sniffsniff...
I just read a great recipie of mascarpone parfait - sweetened with Splenda! I WANT THIS STUFF!
who can tell how it tastes (similar to sugar?) and who would be so nice to send it to me - of course ill pay the costs of shipping and the products price.
Are there different sorts of Splenda?

Im now 140 lbs but already lost 20 lbs with a low fat diet - slooooowwww process! Now ive gained 2 lbs again in spite of still doing the lowfat diet radically, so i decided to start with Atkins. Im 175 cm tall and once weight 120 lbs which is now my aim to reach again (cause by quit smoking i gained the weight)

Anyways, hope i'll get some replies, especially about Splendas taste!

Welcome to the forum!

You are probably better off without all the low carb goodies. Most people seem to have better success sticking with plain old real food.

Splenda tastes good, but you don't want to overdo on that either. There are several other members here from Europe, maybe they can help with finding Splenda over there.

yes, that seems to be a good idea: please all Europeans living in coutries where you can buy Splenda - heres a poor poor sugar loving lowcarb starting girl who cannot get Splenda here in Germany, but needs a good sweetener, which doesnt give her headaches , so that she can have something to look forward to after induction! (Mascarpone Parfait...yummy! )

I need a nice person (in a country near Germany would be best) to send me Splenda (ill pay the costs)
