I was looking to buy a surgar free chocolate syrup online. I have considered Atkin's, Sorbee, and Davinci, and others. The problem is that most of these places have a required amount of money to spend. I only want one product? Where can I find such a place and what chocolate syrup do you recommend?
Is this the best place to buy? I was hoping to fins the Sorbee stuff somewhere because it's less expensive. Does anyone know of a CHEAP product or supplier? Thanks!!!
2/3 c Splenda
1/2 c FRY's Cocoa
1/2 c Water
1/2 c butter
1 ts Vanilla
Combine splenda and cocoa in a small saucepan. Stir in
water. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture
comes to a boil. Reduce heat and boil gently for 3 to
4 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and
vanilla. Cool. Makes about 1 1/3 cups
I haven't tried it yet (and as you can see, I've substituted sugar for splenda), but I'm thinking of trying it once I find something to pour it onto!!

You don't say in what part of the country you're located....we have Wold Market here - they have lotsa sugar free stuff. My Central Market HEB has some great sugar free stuff. It is turning up all over the place. I haven't been forced to buy anything mailorder to save money except supplements.
I don't have a Super WalMart, just a regualr one. They don't carry any speciaty products. No Blue bunny, no LeCarb ice cream, no low carb bread. Is there anyone who has found these products at a regular WalMart? I doubt they have anything, but I'm hopeful...
I dont have a Walmart or a Kmart even !
What I do is think where would someone who is diabetic get sugar free stuff?
I found some Atkins syrup in a health food store. A lot of people dont want to give their kids any sugar as well for a bunch of reasons so anywhere where there are organic or 'healthy' products should have it.
Good luck !
My local grocery store (Ingles) has some sugar free chocolate syrup, unsure of the brand as I've never bought it. It's located by other diet items- Slimfast, sugar replacements, diabetic products. Have you checked out any local grocery chains? My local normal Wal-Mart doesn't carry anything like it either. Good luck in your hunt.
God Bless,
Amy-Lynne
I'm from a small city in Upstate NY. I don't have a health food store anywhere near me. I didn't even know they existed before I came to the forum. We have TOPS, Price Chopper, and P&C Markets.
