Does anyone know where I can buy this in the UK??

If you can't find almond flour, you can always buy almonds and grind them in a coffee grinder or food processor.

Blender might work too, but I've never tried that one.

But I'm sure someone in the UK will be along who can be more help

Look for Ground Almonds in the Home Baking section of any supermarket. Its the same thing. I buy mine at Tesco or Sainsbury.

holland and barratt health food shops, but my local morrisons has just started selling it (cheaper) in the bakery aisle.

so when i see a recipie for almond flour say for the muffins does that mean i have to grind the ground almonds or can i just use them as they are, anyone ?

No, the terms "ground almonds" and "almond flour" are used pretty much interchangeably. If you find your finished product is more grainy than you'd like, then you can try grinding the ground almonds a little more finely, but I use them just as is with no complaints!
