Default 35+ Pounds and One-derland!

I am so ecstatic that, for the last three days, my scale has shown that I am below 200lbs for the first time in at least ten or twelve years! Finding this lifestyle and dedicating myself to it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself not only because I am no longer "obese" (by my BMI I am "overweight") but also because I am SO much happier with myself and full of energy and life.

I definitely feel that I am a success story, and most people are extremely skeptical when I tell them how I have lost all of the weight. So as not to offend some of my customers at work (I work at a natural foods market - "health food store" as most people would think of it), I usually just say I stopped eating processed foods. If they ask more specifically then I'll usually tell them (I giggle to myself and think of the term "meat-atarian")...and they think I'm crazy and move along. So be it, but I know it works and is the best for me

How exciting to see One-derland, but even better, that you are "full of energy and life"!

Thanks everyone -- I had someone that hadn't seen me in at least five or six months come into the store today. She did not recognize me at all until I spoke to her lol! She was absolutely at a loss for words (which is unusual for this lady). I've dropped another couple of pounds already since I got below 200 which is awesome - firmly in the below 200lb range.

Congratulations! I've feeling exactly the same, except my "landmark" is that I'm finally under 250 :-)

For those interested...I hit 45 lbs lost today and am over 50% towards "goal". I have gone from plus sizes (generally a 20) down to a ladies' 14 (I'm still wearing 16s but they are getting a bit loose, as a coworker commented a couple of days on it lol). My loss has slowed a lot compared to the beginning but still seeing an overall downward trend (with a few times of staying the same weight for weeks at a time).

Congratulations for passing another milestone. Half way to goal is fabulous news. Yes, weight loss slows down, so what? This holiday you can savor your new slimmer figure and smaller clothes to keep on track.
