Unhappy So Hungry!!!!!!!!!!

Someone pls help!!! what can i eat so i'm not so hungry all day..

right now this is what i eat. eggs, hot dogs, water, chicken breast, salmon filet, hamburgers...

i need flavor and variety!!!!

i am in serious withdrawal.. i am dying for a piece of fried chicken, french fires, pancakes, pizza, lasagna, macaroni and cheese, cereal, muffins, cake, cup of noodles, rice and ice cream..

i don't know how much longer i can do this..

Have you read the book?!?!?!?!?!?

There is far more to this diet than eating just meat and eggs. Where are your veggies?

If you haven't read the book, my advice is to stop what you are doing and go read it.

BTW Hot dogs (processed food) is not allowed on induction.

well i do eat salad most of the time and cucumbers, carrots and celery.. it's just that when i get home, i am so tired i just cut up a cucumber and eat that.. i really want some corn and broccoli..

i haven't read the book yet. but i will get it as soon as i get to the bookstore...

Hi Tynie,
Fried chicken can happen grind up pork rinds fine take some chicken breast skinless dip them in beaten egg then in the pork rinds fry until it's done it's not bad and perfectly legal.

I got a question

Say you are where you can't get your proper foods and the only thing around is a place to get fried chicken...

If someone were to peel every last bit of breading off a piece of fried chicken would it then be safe to eat on this WOL


I am asking this to help someone in case they cant be in a position to eat their proper meal.

Carrots and corn are not allowed on induction either I am afraid. Which is why you really should read the book before going any further

In the induction chapter Dr Atkin's has 4 pages of allowed foods for induction.

The 7-8 bucks you spend will be worth it's weight in gold

This is a Low Carb lifestyle not a No carb

I am not preaching to you as I am new but I urge you to read the book as well just like someone urged me to.

You don't have as much to lose as alot of us so why not take your time and do it the right , safe , healthy way?

Jeff, it really depends on "how" the chicken was marinated before breading. Some places actually marinate the chicken in a sugar/milk mixture before adding the coating.

And this day and age if there is a chicken place a burger place can't be far away Better choice for an emergency meal would be grab a hamburger and toss the bun.

Yea your probably right about a Burger Joint is around....

Hi there.
Please hang in there but I agree get some more knowledge on this way of life. I never read the book but read all I could on the web and I have lost 100lbs...and still losing...I have never cheated...I would not do that to myself. I am worth more than a piece of cake or something.

Please stick to this webpage, ask for help, read all you can. You can do this. I know you can...if I can...Lord knows anyone can.

Please hang in there...

and you can have so much more than you listed...really and eat till you are full....I have not been hungrey one day on this plan...and all the other things I tried I was always starving and overate and what a mess...

Stick to this sweetie..you can do it

hehehe It feels pretty darn good so far I gained about 60 pounds in 10 years and so far it has only taken me 14 months to get most of it off

At this point I think I lose about a pound every couple of months. Which is cool, because I know that when I finally hit goal I don't have to change a thing about what I am eating or doing

The one thing that makes this WOE so successful is the fact you don't ever have to be hungry. If you are hungry eat something. Just make sure it is low carb/high fiber/high fat. Really trust yourself. If your body is hungry it needs to eat if you are not hungry just don't eat. Make sure you keep drinking your water too.

First of all, toss the hot dogs - they're what's making you hungry with all that processed crap in there. Secondly, read the book.

There's a lot of variety to be had on this diet, you just have to be diligent. Check the Kitchen Forum, there are recipes in there for psyllium fiber pancakes that are legal on induction. There's also a hot pumpkin "cereal" recipe (although I don't think that's induction legal). You can make lasagna, just use sugar free sauce and use eggplant instead of noodles. Rice can be done by grating raw cauliflower on a cheese grater, stick it in the microwave for 5 minutes, add butter, salt, and pepper.

As for being too tired to chop veggies - PLAN PLAN PLAN. Get your salad vegetables home from the store, chop them up and put them in zip lock bags, and a crunchie veggie laden salad is only a minute away. Get rid of the carrots, the sugar in them is making you hungry.
