Default Cold Hands Because Of Keto?

Hey folks, I've been ketogenic for about a month now. This only seems to happen during daytime work hours, but my hands are always so cold at the office.

Not sure if it's related to the ketosis, but could someone tell me if this could be the case or not?

Could be. You might try Ginkgo Biloba Mt climbers take it to ward off frostbite and high altitude sickness. Took it to help circulation for a broken ankle w/hardware installed -- healed in 4 weeks instead of the 12 the docs said it would take at my age!

I was on Atkins at that time. Doc said "we'll put another cast on you today." I said "NO just look at the films."
Tech said, looking at the X-Ray, "Where was it broken?" -- LOL!

Also; when I went into surgery for that ankle I was still awake on the gurney. I said "this isn't an OR it's a storage room -- not like on TV -- turn that radio down!
Doc asked the anesthesiologist "you gave him versed" He replied 2x the Doc's response "you need to relax!" Then the rubber smelling mask over my mouth -- I awoke in recovery to horrid bleeping machines. No real pain till the next day when the drugs finally wore off

My hands are just freezing today. This never used to happen before keto. I'm worried that my body is just so resistant to burning fat for energy that there is no hope for me ever losing weight. Maybe this explains why I got fat in the first place. I should be awash in thermogenesis right now. I don't know what's wrong.

I've found some other (very old) posts on these forums about the same problem:

And there are a few others as well.

Had cold hands and arms for first few months after I added IF to keto, I would shiver when others were comfortable. Got better gradually, now feel back to normal, at least in that regard. Hope you find some relief!
