I'd like to blame nuts and dairy, too. Though I think its actually just over-eating.

Part of the reason Massachusetts schools on the whole are increasing the quality of the teaching. Also the MCAS testing scores are rising since implimenting annual testing.

Im sure you will find a position suitable for your skills.....or are u staying on?

No, I have them a one day notice - pretty much quit on the spot after I learned about it. I closed out that final day, took a day and then started with the public school. I had already signed up to sub with the public schools where credentials matter very much and a BA is required for subbing. I did a half day today that was amazingly wonderful. Lesson learned.

Glad you found your niche!!

I loved my years subbing with the little ones. K-1 and special needs. Just hard to awake every morning in time for a call.

The subbing will be good experience.

I accidentally signed up for some littles today - I don't do great with them, although this crew today were very good in comparison. It was a specials teacher so I had a bunch of different grades. But I LOVED the school. Signing up is totally computerized here. You can get calls or you can line up things ahead of time, just stalking the listings.

Ladibug52, sorry to hear about Hashimoto's! I have known people with it who are managing it very well. It really WAS your thyroid. Ugh, though.

Hi Lady bug!!!! Glad you got someone to listen to you!! I though my doc was doing right by me, but then started asking for the labs to see the numbers for myself. DOc was willing to let me see a specialist as she herself will not give out the meds...... very low!! DOH. SHaking head. Very frustrating. No one really keeping an eye on things DESPITE haviing one side of my neck tissue removed YEARS AGO. Doctors are a____ h_____. Glad you got some help !!!!! Makes life b etter.

Oh an my current doc was willing to give me meds for thyroid, but Said I would like the testosterone more. He granted my wish. My plan is to now ask for the thyroid..... and get this weight moving.

You are in good company!!!! We go UP and we go down..... again and again until we can get our hormones in balance.

Ms Arielle, it took me going to an allergist in May to get the ball rolling (I had been having hives from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet since Sept. 2018). The allergist had my TSH and the antibody test on the labs sheet and that is when I found out. Endo still didn't want to put me on meds because the TSH was 4.11 & the "normal" range went to 4.2. He then did another test that day and it was 6.2 by then; but he wanted me to only do T4 so I went to another doctor. Make sure you do natural and not synthetic. Synthetic only changes the number & doesn't take away the symptoms.
