Default TKD types of carbs and why?

I read an old thread suggesting no fructose and yes dextrose for TKD! What are the best types of carbs, and how much, for TKD and why? I guess I understand no fat concept (like chocolate dang it).

If i remember correctly, the reasoning behind the preference of dextrose is that dextrose goes directly to your muscles to replenish your muscle glycogen levels, while other carbs (most notably fructose) go to the liver to replenish liver glycogen, which is more likely to kick you out of ketosis. Sucrose (table sugar) is 1/2 glucose and 1/2 fructose. I think maltose is also a good alternative to dextrose as it converts to muscle glycogen primarily as well.
