Default hi ladies

Just checking in. Micah, are you getting anywhere with diagnosis?

As far as my situation goes, just over three months on dex and avandia, and I turned up pregnant! I have been married seven years and never used birth control, so this is quite a surprise. I guess when your hormones are in sync, your body works. I'm due May 29th!

Took my saliva test results to the GP and he mocked the whole idea of the tests.... however as he can't help me I'll continue with my diet and supplements etc.

My nutritionist explained my results like going to the cupbopard for food for energy but it's empty.. but I can't go to the supermarket cos thats empty too. Taking supplements but not feeling any better.

Hi Bonboo and everybody else!

Hope you all had a nice Christmas.

Thanks for asking. Unfortunately still no further news. I am going to make an appointment with a specialist in London in the new year and hope he is going to listen.

I do feel better though. I met someone on a course recently who has had CFS for many years and she recommended co-enzyme Q10 in large doses. That's what I have been taking and I hardly ever fall asleep during the day now. Now I only need to find something for the pain (and also lose some weight) - and I will be a happier person!

Michaela

Default Elevated DHEA,estrogen, LH,Low calcitonin, normal cortisol

I just went to a new endo. It is very difficult to understand her...she has a thick accent. When I went to see her yesterday, she said that I was in menopause. I had a TAHBSO in 2000, so already new that. She did not believe me when I told her my ovaries were both taken out and thought maybe I had misunderstood. I know exactly what kind of surgeries I have had and exactly what is taken out.
I am concerned that something is going on with my adrenals and she is missing it because she thinks the source of estrogen and lh is from the ovaries. UGH!
Anyone ever had experience with this?

My notes now say I have CFS, and although I have a subset of symptoms I am still not convinced, as my main symptoms are muscle and joint pain and stiffness which get better with exercise and worse with sitting and lying down. And obviously I am tired in the morning because the pain doesn't let me sleep well.

You sounds like you could have ankylosing spondylitis. It gets worse when lying down. You should see a rhuematologist.

Just FYI: I found following the paleo diet helped my AS by about 90%, a relatively minor drug called sulfasalazine seems to take away about the other 5% of pain.
