Wow am I ever out of shape (AGAIN). I walked 1/2 mile today--muscles feel like they've never been used. My schedule is still really crazy, but it's time to make myself get back into the exercise routine. Dr. Atkins said it's not an option--so it's time for me to stop treating it like one.

Okay, time to blow 2 years worth of dust off the gym log and start posting workouts here again. Since last Friday I've walked at least 1/2 mile per day. Not much--but it's a start. My schedule is a little nuts today with regular school, alternative ed, and then parent-teacher conferences until 7 p.m., but I'll do my best to not let 1 day missed ruin my momentum. Wow--2 years that I've totally ignored workouts except on a very sporadic basis. . .explains a lot!

I kicked my walking up to a full mile today--1/2 mile this morning and another this afternoon. I also did 6 reps of the new upper arm workout I located online and it almost killed me. Not only are my muscles totally out of shape in my arms--I'm lifting 245 blasted pounds since I have to lift my own body weight. Ugh. Well, it's a start. My arms are a little sore.

Thank you for your support. Do you have any food ideas. I am getting bored with my same old food choices, I am starting to feel limited in what I can. My fiance keeps cheating, and that is making it hard for me to adhere to my routine. I hung in there thus far.
