I need to buy the book but based on the research I've done over the weekend, it looks like PP is the way for me to go! Today is day 1 and I'm feeling positive and motivated. Am using fitday to track my foods and activities.
Initial questions:
I'm trying to go very low on carbs (20 grams) to jumpstart the next two weeks (a modified Atkins I guess) - do I need to deduct the fiber carbs or can I just count total carbs?
Is there a supreme ratio of fat: protein: carbs I'm shooting for? Today I'm at 56:40:4. It feels like fat is too high (old dieting thoughts butting in), but my protein is at 119 for the day (this includes dinner and a snack, not yet eaten)
Any tips on favorite "snacks" for the next two weeks? Meals I do fine making choices, but when I'm looking for a snack I'm a bit at a loss.
