What are these noodles like? I considered ordering some but they seem very expensive. Are they much better than shredded courgette as pasta?

The ones available in UK (glucomann/konjak only) have the mouthfeel to me very much like rubber bands. I don't think the ones made from half tofu/half konjak (which people say are more like real pasta) are available over here.

I sometimes make thin omelettes and slice them into noodle shapes to serve with pasta-type sauces or add to stirfries. I also use them cut into sheets for lasagne.

Wow! Never heard of these before, and now am dying to try them. How low-carb are they? Does anyone know the carb count?

Found them on Amazon. Bit too expensive for me at the moment, though, so I haven't tried them.

These are available in many Asian supermarkets. Near to me is a huge Korean supermarket with it's own Japanese aisle so I have no trouble getting them. However I can't find those with tofu that look like fettucine, I think I may have to go to a Japanese shop to buy them. The only person I have seen in another group buying them with success was in Northern Ireland.

The ones made from just konjak aka glucomannan have only fibre carbs in them, so have zero net carbs.

Not seen the part konjak/part tofu ones so don't know about them.

I think one brand of those is called "Miracle Noodles" so a search online should find the carb count info.

I found a website called miraclenoodle.co.uk selling the pure konjak ones, maybe they also stock the tofu-added ones?

Here is info about the tofu/konjak ones

Not in UK though
