Good video, Ms A. I had seen Dr. Berg recently in his Low Carb USA (Denver, I believe) presentation, but am not familiar with him beyond that. Good, sound advice regarding fatty liver issues and ways to prevent it.

Great video - thanks for posting. I always need motivation and Dr. Berg is great in visualizing the benefits of taking care of your organs.

I knew about egg yolk and choline. What foods are good for vitamin E? edit: Looks like beef and salmon for vitamin E:

Sunflower seeds have a high level of Vitamin E. I eat some every day for just that reason. Olive oil also has some vitamin e as does almond butter (and no doubt almonds too) but neither of these come close to the level that sunflower seeds have.

I track my food on chronometer every day. Here is where my vitamin e came from for the past 7 days. I met 150% of the RDA, the minimum amount to avoid deficiency, not necessarily the optimal amount.

Sunflower Seeds, Raw 12.3 mg 82%

Almond Butter, Unsalted 2.7 mg 18%

Chard, Swiss, Raw 1.5 mg 10%

Salmon, Canned, Sockeye Red, without Salt, Drained 1.3 mg 9%

Olive Oil 1.2 mg 8%

Red Bell Peppers, Raw 1.0 mg 6%

Broccoli, Raw 0.5 mg 3%

Spinach, Raw 0.3 mg 2%

Hamburger or Ground Beef, 93% Lean 0.3 mg 2%

Collards, Raw 0.2 mg 2%

I remember reading a long time ago that grass fed beef had a higher vitamin e content than conventional beef but I never was able to find any corroboration for this. I didn't find anything that refuted it either. I eat a lot of ground beef but it still doesn't provide me a lot of vitamin e, at least according to chronometer. Since it is grass fed ground beef it is possible that it provides more than what is listed. I rely on sunflower seeds.
