I haven't tried any bottled ones, but I came up with this one. There are also several other BBQ sauce recipes listed in the table of contents page of the Soups and Sauces forum.

If nothing sounds appealing, have you tried doing them with a dry rub? I like them that way, too.

(Now I think I want to pull the ribs out of the chest freezer. )

Look for G. Hughes sugar free BBQ sauce. I see a lot of recommendations on line for that brand. It sells on Amazon if you can't find it locally.

I like the hickory variety.

Thanks everyone!! I will try G. Hughes first (there is apparently a maple and brown sugar flavor that's just my jam).

I remember seeing the brand at the grocery store. I will report back how it goes.

Default Honey-Maple BBQ Sauce Recipe

Here is one that I have made, but I don't know the carb count.
Honey-Maple BBQ Sauce
Ingredients: Ingredients:
• 1 cup ketchup (Reduced/Low Sugar)
• 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, I add less
• 1.5 tablespoons SF honey (I get it at Walmart)
• 1/2 cup SF maple pancake syrup
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• 1/2 tablespoon ground mustard
• 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
In a medium saucepan mix together all ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes (uncovered), stirring occasionally. Pour into a glass jar and refrigerate.

Check out naturamarket.ca .. online store located in Mississauga ON. They carry several G Hughes sauces .. https://naturamarket.ca/catalogsear...ult/?q=g+hughes. Free shipping in Canada over $49.

BTW, I only discovered this site today while looking for AIP-compliant supplies, so can't vouch personally for their service. However, the on-site reviews are overall positive

Cool, thanks Doreen. I'll check them out.

Wait... you know who else has them? The Low Carb Grocery. I remember going there when I'd visit family in Toronto. Their store was somewhere around Yonge & St Clair, maybe. I remember taking the subway. That was 10-15 yrs ago, back in the day before you could just grab stuff at Bulk Barn, or even smaller grocery stores now. We've come a long way.

They've since moved to Markham... and they're a stone's throw from my DH's work. They offer pick-up because of covid, so I can order and he can pick it up. I could kick myself for not just walking there on nice days when I'd go into work with DH.

I'm glad you prompted me to go look. I'm happy to support either store.

I never reported back, oops!

I love it. Ribs were great. I used the honey bbq because they didn't have the brown sugar one at the store. I'll order it next time.

I followed my own advice and bought the G. Hughes Sugar Free Maple BBQ sauce. It's out of this world!
