Default I am very excited tobe dieting again!

Hello to everyone,
I am a 43 year old homeschooling mom who has used the Atkins diet about 20 yrs ago. (lol has it really been 20 years??? HA HA)

My husband of 15 years has been going to a mens study group at our church. In their lessons they are discussing in depth what it means to be a man. One of the questions in his workbook asked them if they found their wife ALLURING. My husbands answer was;
"LOOKS NO, FEELINGS very much so"
Well that was a kick in the pants, I tell you. I had been uncomfortable with my weight for a long time, but that just really put it in my face. SOOOO.....
I am back on the only diet I ever used that I was happy with.
I have been at it for a week now. Unfortunately, I can not find my scales. (recent move) so I am only guessing at my weight right now. I did find my measuring tape and took measurements. UGG!
And located a picture I hate that shows my weight very well. I stapled the picture in the bathroom next to the large mirror! That should give me some more inspiration. So here's to all you fellow LOSERS! May we all reach our goals quicker than expected!

Hi and welcome!!!

Great to read how excited you are. My favorite part of this is the eating whenever hungry without guilt. What's yours?

my favorite part is the MEAT!!! I love a big juicy steak. I am a big meat eater and can fill up on meat and be completely satisfied. Cheese is great too and I like eggs as well. Veges are good but meat is what I get hungry for.

Do you know Philly Cheesesteaks? Love them without the roll! And the funny thing is my taste has changed.

Ever since REAL dressing I LOVE THE SALADS! Caesar, Cobb, Chef's salad w/ shrimp, meats or chicken w/ dressing and grated cheese is just wonderful to me now.

Philley cheese steaks, YUMMY! except I don't care for the green peppers. The only way I like bell peppers is stuffed! now thats a good green bell pepper. But hey, I'll take a philley cheese steak over a stuffed bell pepper anyday!!

If they are putting peppers in your cheese steaks in Austin they are doing it wrong.

Come visit me in Philly and we can really eat!
