I know this isn't strictly low-carb related, but I think it really helps to stay on track if you look good while doing it.

I desperately need a haircut and I'm willing to pay to get a really good cut (of course, if you know of a great hairdresser who doesn't charge a fortune, even better).

I always feel soooo selfconscious when I go to the better salons. Does anyone know of a place where they know how to cut to flatter a fat face and where you don't have to go through the embarrassment of explaining "well, no, actually your 'one-size-fits-all' robe won't fit me"

yes I know a fantastic hair salon...tho I can't remember the name for the life of me.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....its on oak ~41....right next door to the bank of montreal....which is next to the chevron gas station....on the west side of the street....It's a husband /wife team and they are not only fantastic hairdressers but are funny as hell.....I personally prefer the wife but the hubby does a great job too....
