Legumes cause me joint inflammation, with bloated bursae popping up on my wrists and knuckles within 45-60 minutes of consumption, and blisters on my skin within 12 hrs. I expect the push for plant-based processed everything will cause many people misery. This week's Safeway/Sobey's circulars in my area had plant-based crap on nearly every page.

Mike, thanks for the link. So...natural flavors are what you get when you cook real food at home, and put a little salt and pepper on it. Kind of. Seems like some people fall into this category (from the article):
Quote:
You know how fresh foods taste when you make them at home? Think about fresh bread right from the oven or a yummy vegetable stew simmering on the stove. But, it's also quite time-consuming, so many consumers opt to have processed foods on hand that taste almost as good as their homemade counterparts.
Bread aside, it seems like eating good food isn't worth the time to many folks. But we knew that.

I think the Number One rule of all ways of eating is: Eat Real Food

After that there are a number of "natural flavors" to choose from. And, oddly enough, those food also still contain their natural nutritional value. What a concept!
