Hi Lee

Thats the one I have got but when I opened it there was a thick layer of oil on the top and the peanut butter is too thick to stir it in - I prefer the taste of Whole Earth and although it is more expensive, the carb count is lower.

Its a pity I don't like it because it works out about £3.00 cheaper for a kilo of the Meridian one.

Over in the Butter Snackers thread, some people are talking about mixing peanut butter with normal dairy butter... good way to get the peanut taste whilst reducing the carbs.

I love whole earth peanut butter, it's just divine.
I blend it into my protein to make the best shakes ever!
I could live exclusively on those!

_All_ nut butters and tahini will eventually settle out with oil on the top if left to sit on the shelf for a while - UNLESS its dosed up with emulsifiers and additives!
Sounds like Holland and Barrett are just not selling in enough volume to have a fast turnover of stock when compared to the supermarket...
