Thanks for that post JD. I do want to tell you, once again, that there's so much hope on this diet.

my 3 to 5 year sentence has been changed to: expected to live a normal, healthy life.

I just can't EVER go back to being morbidly obese ever again.

Default Can't Wrap My Head Around It....

I'm so glad that I came across these posts because I am having a difficult time with eating fat to lose weight, especially when I am already obese from eating fat and sugar.... The fat that people have actually reversed heart disease is mind blowing and helps me with the challenge of eating this way day after day.

I mean my head is saying how can I lose weight eating fat and saturated fat at that lol....along with all the cholesterol in the foods when I enter them into Fitday! It tastes good but I keep expecting to have heart palpitations any second now.... I mean I just can't wrap my head around it but time will certainly tell...

hi,
you got fat from carbs (grains, sugar, starches) not fat.

Fat does not stick around in the body. You're brainwashed by the marketing ploys of a grain-industry led world.

I went against my doctor's advice and pushed forward. Now she's a convert. And can see that the pyramid needs to be flipped on its ass.

Save your life. Do a diet by a cardiologist, not a lobbyist.

What Penn said. It was sugar, flour, rice, corn and potatoes that made you fat. Not lard, butter, cream, pork or beef.

My cousin died a few weeks ago (at 35) from Dilated Cardiomyopathy. I only wish she had caught it in time, but she didn't even know she had it. It's very inspiring to see so many great stories of survival here!!!
