Default 8 months pre-post Vap cholesterol crp test result. (help please)

Brothers and Sisters,

Here comes my result.

I reduced my carb from about 2-300 g a day in the first 6 months to about 70g carbs a day. I did a CBC then, it showed some improvement. Then I reduced it to about 20g of carbs 2 months ago.

Now, that have changed my Vap result quite a bit. I,m just not sure what to do with the info. I consulted with a LEF.org doctor, that was a worthless consultation. I see I dont have an "Abnormal Pattern B" anymore and I dont have the "Probable Metabolic Syndrome" neither.

But.. To my understanding, LP(a) is an inheritance factor they say, which was 0 on my first vap test.

At Lef.org they even said at my first test that my cholesterol issues are dietary related, cos they see my LP(a) is 0.

Now.... My question is this... If I did not have any inheritance issue, cos theoretically that is what my first test shows, now that I reduced my carbs it increased my inheritance LP(a) factor?

Hmm.. I dont get it.. All of a sudden, I inherited this?

SO anyway, Could you give your insight what you think about the result so far? Am I doing it right? Did my result move into the right direction?

I also did some CRP test which was surprisingly high too. I have a shoulder pain from working out, that I had for about a year now...

I started to take 6g of turmeric a day, I ordered some other stuff too to address CRP issues and lemmie tell you..... The pain is less, much much less, in a matter of 3 days..

I just brought this chronic pain up, cos this might be the source of the CRP inflammation, but could be anything else too of course..

Another thing that looks interesting is that my Thyroid conversion. t4 to t3 or what. Looks like it converts poorly, although I,m not sure.

Vit. D. I did not take on purposely, I was curious what my status could be eating all that lard yolks cod oil while not exposed to the sun at al..
Well, it become obvious. Now I take 10.000IU a day, plus 4ml of fermented clo.

Oh, BTW... I dont see any improvement on my hdl though...??? (on cbc profile it had 10 points more but not on vap)

I started adding more coco oil to my diet, like 2 tbsp a day...

Ok people, please analyze may result and tell me what you think..

Did it improved, or am I getting worse??

Thanx in advance..

I think having inflammation anywhere in the body can raise CRP, so your shoulder issue might be causing that.

The good news is your triglycerides have fallen by a huge amount.

You're also Pattern A and that's good. Dr. Davis, cardiologist, has a lot about VAP tests on his blog: http://heartscanblog.blogspot.com

Low vitamin D also influences poor T4 to T3 conversion. Also, low progesterone can do the same and low ferritin and iron.

My Hashimoto's hypothyroidism was raising my CRP for quite a few years. (And no, my TPO wasn't raised until about the fourth time they did it...that's common in some).

And you probably already know the cholesterol and hypothyroid connection? If not, the thyroid site at about.com will give you some info if you'll put that into the search "hypothyroidism and cholesterol connection'.
