I don't know that I can help you but maybe finding a plan that allows more veggies? I am a major veggies lover and could never get by on the small amounts that are on the adkins induction level.
I normally have celery and/or cauilflower as snacks and some type mix of veggies(aspargus, brocolli, cauiflower, and a huge list of others) steamed or stir fryed for lunch and dinner .. and I will sneak some into my breakfast if I can help it I have a list of about 25 veggies I don't even have to count towards my carbs for the day no matter how many of them I eat

Eat your veggies...as long as you are eating the right ones, your body will thank you for it.....also, have you plugged your foods into fitday? Then you can really tell what you are eating because it tells you the fiber count so you can in fact eat more veggies.....good luck......K

I don't think you should worry too much about your veggies, as someone already said as long as you are sticking to the low carb ones. Even if you're on induction it shouldn't be that terrible to go a few carbs over if they are all green veggie carbs (are you remembering to deduct your fibre?) the veggies will help fill you up and you should eat lots of them and not make the mistake of trying to live on meat, fish and eggs alone. Having your veggies will keep your calories lower - which although technically you don't have to count them on Atkins, most people seem to agree that eventually they do matter.

I'll agree with the above. As long as it's all low-carb like dark leafy greens, cauliflower, broccoli, etc., I wouldn't worry about it. There are those who insist you need to stick to the 3-cup rule, but I say if you stick with good choices and track the net carbs you're fine. IMHO, there is no better way to get your carbs! After all, if you ate 2 oz of cheese and 2 hardboiled eggs, you'd be getting the same or MORE carbs than 2 cups of salad greens....

I also believe that the 3 cup rule was to ensure ENOUGH veggies, and a lot of people don't have that much and do fine.

I usually have 3 cups a day, but not necessarly split "correctly" between the lists. I DO stay with the listed veggies, tho

I lost all of my weight on atkins while eating 4+ cups of veggies a day so I say if veggies are what your body is telling you that you need.... go for it.
