Thanks again! I'll remember that! One in 20,000....why do they even mention it then? DO you know somewhere I can read more about that? I'd love to throw that fact up next time it's mentioned! I get my T4 and T3 compounded. I don't think there is any danger of developing an antibody with that but I may be wrong. My anibodies have dropped steadily since a year ago. Now, they are under 100 but who knows how high they actually were before the Hashi's was even found. I had complained for several years of "menopausal type" symptoms so they'd test and my FSH and since it was not elevated, they think it was all in my head I guess. It took growing a large goiter before they'd even consider "Hey, this person might have a thyroid problem!" Now, four out of five in my family have this.
