Day 81 of 90

52 net carbs, 3000 calories and 23K steps. The plan is do 6 more days of this. But I fear that I'm easily conditioned to eat more. I'm happy with how much I'm eating now and I expect to be a little unhappy when I start cutting back a week from now. Good thing a new 90 day challenge is about to begin. If I'm smart I'll build in a cap on calories to shoot for. 2500 or less would put me in a slow but sure weight loss mode. Returning to VLC/Nearly plant free will help me do that.

1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead On the notepad: leftovers from the volunteer luncheon made a table and fridge full of food at work today. EVERYTHING. All manner of desserts, you name it. Crackers, junk food favorites, macaroni salad, candy... I didn't look too closely at things, although I sat at the table for break to eat what I brought... There were sliders with ham/cheese and turkey and cheese - I did peel off the bread on a few and ate the fillings when I first got to work... was hungry. Put in 6 hours at the new job then worked the second one.

1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead. I am staying on track and am proud of myself today. The festival didn't start til yesterday, I had the day wrong - walking around the other night, people were just setting up. Tonight I chose the festival for my walk. I planned on Steak on a Stick until I saw it was 7.00. I found a booth selling them for 5. but then it was cash only and I don't carry cash. I did find a booth selling smokies and jerky and bought several stix, which I ate on my walk back to the parking lot which was a distance from the main drag. All the festival food of course looked way too good to me, but I was happy to realize I wasn't going to eat any of it. Fast food places calling as well, and restaurants around the place I went to get gas where it is cheapest, in a little metro that I don't go to often. **Also went to see my mom - she is diabetic but her old fashioned dr tells her she can have x amount of sugar a day. She is in her 80s, in a nursing home, and stubborn as hell. I buy her SF stuff when I can, but I am having trouble finding milk-free chocolate which she wants (severely allergic to milk), so bought a dark (72%) bar for her - she didn't like it. It was all I could do not to eat it. I"ll take it to work. Found some other milk-free chocolate for her to try.
