Smile Not new, but back determined.

I left this group and the plan around six years ago and spent the last six years either not doing anything or trying all kinds of other plans. Nothing worked, and finally our new doctor recommended keto. My husband had two spinal surgeries the last two years and was told to either lose the weight or plan on another on in a few years.
I have metabolic syndrome diagnosed in 2010 and initially was on Atkins but over time fell off. Not sure why, and it really does not matter. I just know that now, I am done with being stupid and want to finally dig in, and learn to live without carbs. I know that carbs cause me a lot of issues and actual health issues , and it is time to take my health into my own hands and do what I need to be healthy.
My keto flu is really bad this time. Severe body aches that nothing helps, bad fatique. I am going through it. It is my own fault so I just have to stick with it, in time, hopefully a week or so , I will start feeling better.
But it is good to be back on the plan and be back here !!!
