Default Hello, I just arrived here in this Forum

I am 70 and just started on my LCHF path.
I have been researching everything related to Keto for about 6 months and started on low carbs early last month with success.
After following the official guidelines, I kept my carbohydrates and sugar low but 15 years still not losing weight.
Well 83 to 81 kg. (182-178 lbs)
but on mild keto, (my wife looks after me and keeps giving me fruit lol)I have dropped below 80 kg (176) for the first time.
I retired 10 years ago and have been living in Thailand 8 years. Just married here 9 months ago.

Welcome !!!

Ahhhhh, fruit!! Peaches are my downfall. Thank goodness they are seasonal !!

Fruit has the dubious reputation of causing fatty liver disease, just like alcohol. Who knew ?? Liver is only place to process fructose and store its metabolites aka fat. Other sugars like glucose xan be stored in all other tissues of the body......

Lots to read on this forum.....you will find what you need.....or ask, someone can find it.

Welcome Aussie! Glad you stopped by.

Fruit is a tough one as it will keep you from going into ketosis. There is a lot mire sugar in Fruit than most people think.

Are you tracking your macros? That might speed up the weight loss.

Welcome again!
