i hav a doc apt in dec after goin on the higher dosage of metformin in june and since been on the higher one i havnt lost hardly anytihng compared to wat i did in the lower one, wil the doc take me off it all together? i sugested to my gp that mayb im beter on the lower one as everyone is dif and she said that becoz im not a smal person that it wouldnt make sense to be on the lower one and cant see why that one wil b beter, so i realy think wen i see the proper doc in dec il be in trouble for not doin as well, is this everyone or just me that does worse on the higher one

Same here - darned interesting isn't it? Just make sure you tell your doc everything that you lost weight on the lower dose - maybe that was the dose for you? They shouldn't knock you off it just because you didn't lose on a higher dose!
