I hear you! I remember those days with younger kids and how tired I could be. Here's what helped me-- if you are hungry, eat. Eat lots, eat what it takes. But eat on plan...meats, tuna/mayo, eggs, eggs and mayo. (Cheese and nuts could be dangerous but if you can keep to a couple of ounces, that should be fine.) drink lots of water.
This way you won't trigger cravings, and you won't be as irritable and impatient with your son, and one day over-eating on plan foods is not at disaster.
Lack of sleep causes most bodies to get hungrier, you need the fuel. Stay super low carb but feed yourself. I hope you and your boy get lots of sleep tonight!
