No, its totally different from anything out there. It doesn't contain soy, it uses real wheat flour that has been processed so that most of the carbs are out. Its the best low carb product I've ever had, well... it ties with Hood Carb Countdown milk in my opinion.

Absolutely the best! I have tried the atkins mix- not very good- thinks are flat and it tastes like cardboard. Carbquick is awesome! I made waffles and they tasted like normal waffles- I also made cheese biscuits and they were a bit flat but also tasted great!! Even my hubby ate some! To make it rise next time I will add a bit of club soda. Carbquick is the best IMO- and I have tried many!

Where can i buy Carb Quick?

Two websites that I know of sell it: carbavoidstore and netrition. I've seen some folks mention that they've found it in local stores...but I believe I've only heard that from people in Indiana and Kentucky.

If anyone else is finding it in local stores, please let us all know...

I bought it at Netrition.com and got great service from them. The three pound box was somewhere around $10.00. Very good stuff and well worth the money. I made the pot pie, modified, and it was pretty good. I also made the pizza crust but it quickly turned soggy. It will need some tweeking. But again, it was quite tasty.

I made some of the red lobster cheddar rolls and they were great!

You can go to the Carbquik Site....I think it's www.carbalose.com, and put in your zip and they'll tell you if anyplace within 60 miles of you has it. It seems to be east/central US only at this time, best as I can tell. It's a great product, so I imagine that eventually it'll get into more places. It's essentially almost like bisquick, but with only 6.1 net carbs per cup (110g). This is per the Tova (distributor of CarbQuik) rep. They have to round up numbers on the portion sizes to the nearest gram and round down on the fiber, so we found out that with the 3-lb bag (which has a different, lower-carb formulation than the 1-lb bag) the net per cup is only 6.1 carbs, whereas for a 17g portion it shows as 2 net carbs! I've gone through over half of my 3-lb box in my first week using it, and had to order more already~!

I bought a couple of boxes at Krogers in Tennessee...more specifically, in Spring Hill, Tennessee! They were $2.50 for a one pound box if you use your store card!
