Question New Please Help w/food

I have never low-carbed. I weigh 145 and I'm 5'4". I HATE to cook, and usually grab junk because I am always on-the-run. My idea of a diet is either SlimFast/Lean Cuisine or diuretics/laxatives I'd like to know if there is a list of quick-grab foods that are low-carb that are balanced within the diet. I've only seen recipes so I'm thinking this may not be for me. HELP!!!

Default More Info before doing anything....

is DEFINITELY recommended. LowCarb is much more than a "diet" and will affect how you feel physically (better!).

See over there on the right? Top link is "Which Lowcarb Plan is right for Me?"... comparisons and info. Pick a plan that sounds likely, read the book (this is very important), get started. The information you seek is in there!

Good luck to you in your hunt.

Island girl is right. The book is important. Lo carb is the way to go instead of diuretic and laxatives. I know I had a very serious eating disorder and almost lost my life when I was young(19 years old). I am 48 now and it has messed up my metabolism.
I am also a snacker and I keep string cheese, meat roll ups and lo carb vegetable with lo carb dip. I hope this help.

This was originally posted in the LowCarb Kitchen ... I've moved it here, because I think this might be helpful for other newbies.

Good luck to you and everybody in your search!
